A total of 18 healthcare staff from various government and private hospitals participated in a two-day program organized by the Hospital-Friendly Academy (ACADEMY) in collaboration with Hospital Pakar Al-Islam, held at the Seminar Room, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) Kuala Lumpur Campus on 16 and 17 July 2025.

This ACADEMY program was conducted to enhance the skills of healthcare staff, particularly in supporting patients’ spiritual needs, especially during hospital treatments or dialysis sessions.

The program began with a sharing session by the Director of Hospital Pakar Al-Islam, Dr. Ishak Mas’ud, titled Hospital Mesra Ibadah (HMI): Paradigm Shift.

It is hoped that this sharing of direction and aspirations will inspire participants to continue serving diligently and to strengthen the hospital-friendly module in their respective hospital premises.
