Ramadan Visit 2025: Al-Fikrah Care Center Malaysia

Ramadan Visit 2025 continued its mission of fulfilling corporate social responsibility through a charitable collaboration with Al-Islam Specialist Hospital, Angkatan Belia Islam Malaysia (ABIM), and the Malaysian Relief Agency (MRA) to the Al-Fikrah Care Center Malaysia, located in Sungai Sekamat, Kajang, Selangor, on 6 March, corresponding to 5 Ramadan 1446H.

Spanning approximately one acre, the elderly care complex, currently led by Nurul Atikah Mohd Azmi—who is also the Chairperson of the Al-Fikrah Malaysia Welfare Association—is said to be able to accommodate over 100 residents at any one time.

In her speech, Nurul Atikah shared her involvement in the elderly care segment, following in the footsteps of her late father, who had been committed to advocating for the welfare of those who are lonely and in need of health and other forms of support.

The Ramadan Visit 2025 delegation, led by Dr. Ishak Mas’ud along with representatives from MRA, ABIM, and staff from Al-Islam Specialist Hospital, was also taken to visit the agricultural area established by contributors to the Al-Fikrah Care Center, including vegetable cultivation and tilapia fish farming.

In addition, frail residents were visited by the delegation. Dr. Ishak also offered advice and recommendations to the Al-Fikrah Care Center for improvements, particularly regarding the performance of religious practices while ill, suitable leisure activities for residents, and general health care.

Cash donations, as well as other essential items, were presented to the Al-Fikrah Care Center, with the hope that these contributions would help ease some of the operational costs borne by the facility.
