Mahmudah Care Centre Malaysia (PJMM) in Semenyih, Selangor, became the first location for the Ramadan Visit 2025 program, marking the beginning of a new chapter in efforts towards building a distinguished ummah.
The ‘flag-off’ session for the Ramadan Visit 2025 convoy at Al-Islam Specialist Hospital in Kampong Baru, Kuala Lumpur, began at around 2.30 pm on 3 March before the convoy proceeded to PJMM, located at Jalan Bangi Lama, Semenyih.
Upon arrival at PJMM, the convoy was welcomed by PJMM Secretary Muhammad Syafiq Mohiadin and the PJMM management team.
In reference to this new chapter, PJMM aspires to become an ibadah-friendly elderly care center, a goal that will be realized with the support of Al-Islam Specialist Hospital through the Ibadah-Friendly Academy.
The Director of Al-Islam Specialist Hospital, Dr. Ishak Mas’ud, who was also present at the event, expressed his appreciation and commitment to supporting PJMM’s leadership vision, in line with the capabilities and experience of Al-Islam Specialist Hospital as the pioneer of the ibadah-friendly hospital concept in Malaysia.
For the record, Ramadan Visit 2025 is a Jariah Collaborative program involving three agencies: Al-Islam Specialist Hospital, the Malaysian Islamic Youth Movement (ABIM), and the Malaysian Relief Agency (MRA).
Also present at the programme were ABIM President Ahmad Fahmi Mohd Shamsudin, ABIM Secretary-General Aliemran Norasid, MRA Vice President I Khairil Annuar Khalid, and MRA Secretary-General Dr. Shahrizal Azswan Samsudin.
Among the attendees were also Zayan FM Brand Manager Wan Syahrul Amry Wan Mansor, staff of Al-Islam Specialist Hospital, as well as members of MRA and ABIM.
This year’s Ramadan Visit 2025 also included the distribution of cash donations and basic necessities, with hopes that it would help ease the operational costs borne by PJMM.
