Healing the Body, Guiding the Soul

At Al-Islam Specialist Hospital, we believe that healthcare is not only about physical healing but also about nurturing emotional and spiritual wellbeing. As part of our Hospital Mesra Ibadah (HMI) commitment, we provide free spiritual counselling and support to patients, families, and the community — delivered by our trained chaplains (Ustaz & Ustazah).

Our Services

We offer comprehensive guidance and support to help you face life’s challenges with faith and resilience:
  • Individual & Family Counselling – emotional and spiritual support for patients and their loved ones
  • Prayers, Zikir & Quran Recitation – including doa, ruqyah, and Quranic comfort during illness
  • Outpatient Spiritual Clinic – open to anyone seeking emotional and spiritual guidance
  • End-of-Life Care Support – including recitation, talqin, and family comfort in the final moments
  • Patient Ibadah Guidance – assistance with solat, tayammum, wuduk, fasting, and zakat while in treatment
Who Can Access This Service?
  • Inpatients (bedside sessions in wards)
  • Outpatients (via Spiritual Clinic)
  • Family members and caregivers
  • Open to all, regardless of background
  • Inpatients: Sessions conducted directly at the ward upon request
  • Outpatients: Spiritual Clinic, available Monday–Friday, 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
  • Part of our Hospital Mesra Ibadah (HMI) philosophy
  • Conducted by trained chaplains (Ustaz & Ustazah)
  • Completely free of charge for patients, families, and the community
  • Integrates compassion, dignity, and spiritual strength into the healing journey
