I seek refuge in Allah, the All-Hearing, All-Knowing, from the accursed Satan.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of all the worlds. The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Master of the Day of Judgment. You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help. Guide us to the straight path, the path of those upon whom You have bestowed Your favor, not the path of those who have earned Your anger, nor of those who go astray.
Surah al-Baqarah (Verses 1-5)
Alif, Lam, Meem. This is the Book; there is no doubt in it; it is guidance for those who are mindful of Allah.
Those who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, and spend from what We have provided them.
And those who believe in what has been revealed to you and what was revealed before you, and they are certain of the Hereafter.
It is they who are guided by their Lord, and it is they who will be successful.
Ayatul Kursi (Al-Baqarah, Verse 255)
Allah! There is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all existence. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they do not encompass anything of His knowledge except what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and preserving them does not tire Him. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.
Surah al-Baqarah (Verse 256)
There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the truth has become distinct from falsehood. Whoever rejects Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
Surah al-Baqarah (Verse 257)
Allah is the Protector of those who believe. He brings them out of darkness into light. But those who disbelieve, their protectors are Taghut, who lead them from light into darkness. They are the inhabitants of the Fire, where they will abide forever.
Surah al-Baqarah (Verses 284-286)
Verse 284:
To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Whether you show what is within yourselves or conceal it, Allah will hold you accountable for it. He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills. And Allah is over all things competent.
Verse 285:
The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and so have the believers. Each one believes in Allah, His angels, His books, and His messengers. They say: “We make no distinction between any of His messengers.” And they say: “We hear and we obey. Forgive us, our Lord. To You is the final return.
Verse 286:
Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear. It will have the reward of what it earns, and it will bear the consequences of what it does. Our Lord, do not punish us if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord, do not place upon us a burden as You placed on those before us. Our Lord, do not impose on us that which we cannot bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy upon us. You are our Protector; so grant us victory over the disbelieving people.
