Diagnostic Imaging Expertise: Unveiling Health Insights
Our expert diagnostic radiologists interpret a vast array of medical images to accurately identify diseases and injuries across all body systems. We offer a full spectrum of imaging services:
  • X-ray (Radiography): Essential for skeletal and chest imaging, providing quick assessments.
  • Ultrasound (Sonography): Real-time imaging for soft tissues, organs (e.g., abdomen, pelvis, thyroid), vascular structures, and obstetrics/gynaecology.
  • Computed Tomography (CT Scan): Detailed cross-sectional images for complex anatomical assessment, emergency conditions, and cancer staging. This includes advanced applications like CT Angiography for vascular assessment.
Our interventional radiologists specialize in performing precise, image-guided procedures that often offer less invasive alternatives to traditional surgery, resulting in smaller incisions, less pain, and faster recovery times.
  • Image-Guided Biopsies: Highly accurate biopsies of various organs (e.g., lung, liver, kidney, bone, lymph node) and masses, performed using CT, ultrasound, or fluoroscopy guidance to obtain tissue for definitive diagnosis with minimal invasiveness.
  • Vascular Interventions:
  • Peripheral Angiography & Angioplasty/Stenting: Diagnosing and treating blockages or narrowing in arteries outside the heart (e.g., in legs, kidneys) to restore blood flow.
  • Embolization: Therapeutic blockage of blood vessels to stop bleeding (e.g., post-trauma, GI bleeding), shrink tumors (e.g., uterine fibroids, liver tumors), or treat vascular malformations. This includes Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE), a non-surgical option for symptomatic uterine fibroids.
  • IVC Filter Placement & Retrieval: Insertion or removal of filters in the inferior vena cava to prevent blood clots from traveling to the lungs.
  • Tumor Ablation: Minimally invasive treatments to destroy tumors using techniques like Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) or Microwave Ablation for liver, kidney, or lung cancers, guided precisely by imaging.
  • Drainage Procedures: Image-guided insertion of catheters to drain abscesses, fluid collections, or blockages in various parts of the body (e.g., abdominal, pleural, renal fluid collections).
  • Urological Interventions:
  • Nephrostomy Tube Placement: Image-guided insertion of a tube to drain urine directly from the kidney when there's an obstruction.
  • Ureteric Stenting (Antegrade): Placing a stent to open blockages in the ureter.
  • Vertebral Augmentation: Procedures like Vertebroplasty or Kyphoplasty to stabilize painful vertebral compression fractures, often due to osteoporosis, by injecting bone cement.
  • Pain Management Interventions (Image-Guided): Precise injections for chronic pain conditions, such as nerve blocks or joint injections, performed under imaging guidance for optimal accuracy.
